I’ve always been the biggest fan of MAC, Chanel, Benefit, Clinique, et cetera, but now that every dollar counts, I’m a fan of stocking up on drugstore brands for certain items. No matter who you are, you do not need to be wearing $30 lipstick every day.

However, it’s a very worthwhile splurge. With YSL, you’re definitely paying for the pomp and circumstance that comes along with any of their products: fancy gold box, fancy gold case, fancy “YSL” impression on the lipstick, intoxicating rose smell. You’re also paying to be better than everyone else, obbbbbbbbbviously!
